Overview

The General Manager / Sales and Marketing Manager will conduct management and marketing activities in the United Kingdom. The person will manage trade shows, conduct sales calls, generate leads and provide follow ups. The person will oversee the development and manage media for Elite Tour And Travel Club Limited. The person has the moderate authority to make decisions within the latitudes established by the Directors of the company. The person will be flexible in planning, organising and prioritising duties to the staff who are employed by the Directors. The person should be very familiar with the Middle East market, especially destinations such as Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Sudan and Syria.

Duties and Responsibilities

Developing new business deals

Establish marketing and sales goals, objectives and strategies

Develop short-term and long-range marketing plans for the business

Evaluate current business processes and systems

Organize and manage business meetings

Participate in travel shows

Assist in the social media project on an ongoing basis

Act as primary information contact to travel agents and conduct promotions and sales calls to UK travel agencies and tour operators

Arrange open days to familiarise people with the office and our products

Develop, implement and evaluate annual advertising plans aimed at increasing awareness and bookings

Prepare weekly reports with the contents of the report as specified by the Directors

Education and Qualifications

A combination of education and experience equal to 5 years in tourism, preferably in leading tour operator companies.
